Libraries are more than just books – they’re hubs of discovery, creativity, and connection. The State Library of Queensland is inviting
everyone to get involved in the statewide How do you library? campaign, to encourage everyone to rediscover their local library or
Indigenous Knowledge Centre and tell us 'how they library.'
Did you know?
There are 325 public libraries and IKCs across the state, and 1 in 3 Queenslanders is a library member.
Launching on Library Lovers’ Day (14 February 2025) and running until November 2025, this campaign encourages everyone to explore the
amazing services libraries offer – from free Wi-Fi, cool aircon, study spaces to creative events and workshops, a place to meet up with
friends or access in person and online to millions of collection items from history records to story books, manga to newspapers, audio books
and films and so much more.
